Forum: texts Subject: Text-scans that miss a page at the end ?

Hi,
frequently come across pdf-files that are just a few pages short of a complete scan towards the end of the document.
What is the deal with that? (Just seems odd that someone would scan 600+ pages and then miss 2 right at the end for example..)
Cheers

Thanks. Sure:

Left a review to indicate the pdf is missing something to other readers. (Would be great if one could flag it for that reason?)

Hello,
I noticed the same in a book recently, and I didn't want to create a new thread, I hope it's okay to post here.
Here is the link to the book:

It seems only the first, or the first few pages of the first chapter are missing.
Thank you!

looks like scanner error. thanks. i'll file a report. because of the workflow it is doubtful we'd have access to the physical book at this point but i'll check.
